Skin on Skin

by RCWoodshed <Rcwoodshed@aol.com>

I have restored my RCWoodshed screen name after a brief, ill-advised deletion ... I have reactivated it. I always learn something new from both tops and bottoms. I am learning something new all the time and can present your comments in future postings.

In my discourses, "boy" or "lad" means an *adult consenting person* of legal age or older, depending upon your location. My "tutorials" are not the definitive books on spanking ... just techniques that have served me and my partners well at the RCW.

The hand applied to the bare bottom is very natural and requires minimal preparation. The techniques involved are fairly basic. It is my favorite tool. I'll cover that in my next message.

However, there are other varieties of skin that can be applied to the skin of your partner's bottom. If you're at the other "end" of things, you can offer leather to your dad, uncle, coach, principal, big brother or reform school warden. The belt is probably the most commonly used implement in the States. Yanking a belt off and whacking the miscreant is quick and requires minimal or no preparation.

It's important that a spanking should be a dramatic event and pre-spanking ritual and preparation is essential for your misbehaving lad. While it can be fun chasing him around the house whacking the belt across his butt, you're likely to land more swats off that squirming, running target than on. Have him report to your den or his bedroom first for a proper scolding.

At my woodshed, I have my boys lie on the bed, butt elevated by a couple of pillows. I use gravity assist to bring the belt down onto a waiting pair of buttocks. The belt should be reasonably substantial. If too thin, it will flop about in the air and land on anatomy not intended for the belt like the hip and tail bones and thighs. Some guys like it on the thighs, but most do not in my experience. Also a thin belt will twist in the air and can land edge first which is no turnon, especially when it leaves a bruise.

A substantial belt or strap, 2 - 4" wide seems ideal. A smooth surface works best, better than a textured one. When flat leather lands squarely, it does so with a wonderfully loud SMACK! While paddles are best applied with a protective layer of denim, leather must contact bare skin! A cushion of air forms between butt flesh and the strap/belt and the trapped air escapes with a satisfying sound and lovely sting for the miscreant. The aural (sound) experience of a belting is a major component of your partner's enjoyment. The loud smacks give him the feeling of taking a terrific punishment, yet the sting is very satisfying and tolerable. If the belt or strap lands with a THUD, that means it came down edgewise and the resultant sensation is a turnoff and the likely bruising might encourage your partner to look elsewhere ...

You can stand him up or bend him across a chair or desk too. Bringing the belt across the butt horizontally requires a bit more expertise, but it works well. A heavier strap works better and is less likely to flop about on its path to the condemned flesh.

If new to belts and straps, take a few moments to practice on a pillow. Put a crease in the pillow to simulate the buttocks and crevice. Bring the belt down so it lands on the middle to lower curves of the butt. Make sure the edge of the belt or strap does not wrap around the sides of the butt and hit hip bones. The summit of the middle and lower buttocks close to the crevice is served by the *perineal* nerve ... the same one that gives you an erection. A hard smack feels better (more erotic!) there than if you hit the outside or the upper portion of the buttocks which are served by other nerves.

The razor strop is a great implement for whacking a butt. I like antique strops. They are heavier and more inclined to land squarely than modern, flimsy items. Because of its weight, the strop must be used with care and attention paid to where it lands. I always take some light practice swings to be sure it lands on where it should. I like to bring it over my shoulder and down on the butt firmly but not too hard. The strop penetrates more into the gluteal muscles than the typical belt ... for that reason is often well appreciated by bottoms. At the same time, it requires more technique and care than other implements.

Leather implements have more velocity on the outer edge and will land with greater velocity on the far bun. I try to work one bun than the other with the outside three or four-inch of the belt. Also, you can work from both sides of the bed or punishment bench. If you want to land across both buns, bring the leather down on the closer buttock first and that will tend to provide a more even smack across both cheeks. Always watch for "wrap-around." That occurs when the outer edge of the belt lands on flesh on the outside of the buttocks and hips which for all but dedicated "pain pigs" is a real turnoff. That flesh is also more prone to bruising. Bring it down squarely on the butt and stay within the turnon zone of the butt and you'll have a delighted partner. As always respect your partner's pain limits as well as his flesh.

Respectfully, RCWoodshed
