The Awakening - Chapter Fourteen

The Rescuers

James Etting drove home in a state of quiet delirium. He couldn't sit still - first of all because of the searing pain in his backside, which seemed to be burning inside his trousers. Then there was the horror in his heart as his mind replayed and replayed the scene that had taken place with Neil Taylor. James was so unsure of himself he even wondered if he was right to refuse to take the man's _c_o_c_k_ into his mouth. Did he have that right?

And then - after both his burning butt and his emotional hangover from the encounter - then and only then was he also upset about having been fired. It might ruin his life - being fired so early in his career - but it was not his foremost concern at this point. Trying to keep his mind from lurching clear off track was the big thing for him.

Finally he pulled into the driveway of his apartment building. Leaving his briefcase in the car, he ran inside and as soon as his door was shut, began taking off his trousers to give his burning butt as much relief from the pain as possible. And to his own surprise, as soon as the door was shut, he began sobbing.

What in the world had just happened to him and why? Was it something he had invited? Was it his fault? Should he have been tougher on Tommy? Was Mr. Taylor acting within the rights of a school principal? And did he really WANT to take the man's _c_o_c_k_ in his mouth? That was something he had never consciously contemplated doing!

James mind was too clouded with pain and emotion to be sure of any answers at this moment. And he couldn't for the life of him think what to do to make his butt feel better, either! Letting his pants and white briefs drop on the bedroom floor he flung himself, face down of course, across his bed, and the bed shook with his sobs.

Finally - face swollen and red - the crying subsided and James managed somehow to fall asleep for a short while. He awoke to the sound of a knocking at the door. Who could THAT be? Maybe Taylor, coming to apologize and offer him his job back?

With a race of irrational hope, James pulled his pants on - leaving the briefs lie and went to the door. He opened it wide to find Tommy Carson and his best friend, Kevin, standing there in the door, wide-eyed. "Are you alright?" Tommy asked, stepping forward slightly.
